Faded Blues

Deep down this thick skin

We are same, we are alike.

Deep into the oceans of our eyes

We sink yet we don’t die.

Deep into the wild of our memories

We wander and we get lost

Some strangle to death, some search for the lost hope.

Imprisoned into the bone cage within,

In these streets of our throat

We yell,

We all cry,

And in the process-

We burn our insides

Yet we smile- seemingly

“I am fine.”
